What kind of experiences can be hosted?
You can create private gatherings, celebrations or corporate events, always in harmony with the environment, the scale of the space and the energy you wish to bring to life. To preserve the balance of the place and the quality of the experience, it’s important to respect municipal sound regulations, the number of guests the space can accommodate depending on the setup, and our connection with nature — including waste separation, responsible use of dry toilets and water treatment. At Refugio, we don’t judge — we care. The host leads the moment and is responsible for their guests, so everything unfolds in the best possible way.
How do guests arrive?
We have an authorized mooring area, allowing you to arrive with any type of vessel, along with marina staff available to assist you at the dock. We also work with certified providers for transfers from different points such as Nordelta or Puerto Madero, including catamarans, water taxis and cruises. In addition, we have our own vessel —a fast boat licensed for up to 22 passengers— available throughout the service to support the flow of the experience.
Can guests arrive or leave outside the scheduled time?
It’s possible, although movements outside the planned schedule may involve additional coordination and costs.
Can I bring my own team or providers?
Of course you can The experience is led by the host and takes shape together with their guests. You’re welcome to work with your own providers, as long as they meet Refugio 31’s quality standards and hold the appropriate insurance coverage. The host assumes responsibility for their hiring and for any situation that may arise during the experience.
How far is Refugio by boat?
Refugio is a 30 minute navigation from San Fernando (CNSF) and approximately 45 minutes from Puerto Madero.
Do you have a generator?
Yes, we operate with a 220 kVA generator that supports the experience and ensures the proper functioning of the space. Its use is included within the service, and diesel fuel consumption is charged based on hours of use. As in every detail, we anticipate what’s needed so everything runs with the quality and care that define Refugio.
What happens in case of rain?
Luckily, we still can’t control the rain. At Refugio, we respect the intention behind each experience, which is why we can agree on different alternatives depending on the case: Rescheduling the date with at least 7 days’ notice, considering any costs already incurred Securing a backup date for larger experiences where it makes sense We’re here to support you so that what you imagined can unfold in the best possible way.
What safety measures are in place at Refugio?
At Refugio, we prioritize well-being in every detail. We provide safety and hygiene equipment, a defibrillator, private security and liability insurance, ensuring each experience unfolds with care and peace of mind.
